Two years ago now (almost to the day) I released the original version
of the Doctor Who screen saver. One of the effects in it is the time
vortex. In the original release it was made out of dots, cos things
were slower back then. Then last year there was a second release, and
it has a solid version with flashin' colours n stuff. But they all use
my own 3D routines so if you've got a 3D accelerator you're not better
off than if you've got a goat in a tootoo. So anyway this is an OpenGL
version of the same effect, and I think it looks pretty damn nifty.

P.S. This uses the continuingly wonderous OpenGL graphics library. If
you're using an old version of Windows 95 you may need to install them.
But fear not, you can get them from our good *cough* friends at Microsoft:
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/mslfiles/opengl95.exe
You'll know if you need it because you'll have emailed me without reading
this complaining that you're getting DLL errors.....
